Kavarna Restro Cafe is a rather newly developed cafe in Keshtopur in Kolkata. By "new", I mean right after COVID hit our country. Despite those odds, this little cafe has blossomed into a niche little spot for not only the locals but also people from all over town to grab a quick bite or a hearty meal. Kavarna is a word of Czech origin meaning "coffeehouse", and true to its name, Kavarna is every bit of a cafe as possible, with its fancy-looking aesthetics adding a subtle touch to its glamour.


Kavarana not only offers appetizing meals, on top of their enticing delicacies, Kavarna has a welcoming aura that draws in even the busiest of people. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the air indulging its customers to unwind beneath the tranquility of its green vines that decorate the walls of this café. But that's not all this beautiful cafe has to offer. Along with its interesting choices of various tea, coffee and snacks, Kavarna also boasts a varied palette of Indian and Chinese food in its menu. Ranging from the delicious Tandoor, Naan, Tikka masala to the excuisite Hot Garlic Chicken, Szechwan Noodles and the like, with chilling mocktails to wash them down smoothly.



An adornment of white flowers accompany the vines together with various plants that bring the café interior to life, ensuring you have the full experience of a serene environment. The walls are a mix of white and dark tree texture fitting into the whole tranquil aesthetic the café is upholding. In addition to that the in wall lighting add a modern touch to the café making sure it is up to date while maintain its own unique aura. Display of different arts and books in the café tie everything together ensuring the perfect environment for you to take a seat and enjoy all the aromatic foods and drink Kavarna has to offer.



Overall, Kavarna is a well balanced mix of a cafe and a fine dining spot, with its vast array of food and drinks. The place is staffed by an excellent group of waiters and chefs who are hospitable, respectful and make you feel comfortable. From my experience as a food lover, I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have good time with some delicious food.
